The Surrender of Marik  09/30/3027 !BloodyScavenger

"I have tamed men of Iron in my day, shall I not easily crush these men of butter?"

                                                                    Gor’NaThal, Acolyte of Carnage

Purple chickens crow and squawk. They puff up their chests and strut. The head rooster (read as House Leader) squawks the loudest. They are well trained in the art of BS, avoidance, denial, and feigning strength. From their adeptness in these areas, they gain a certain arrogance. This arrogance bolsters their perception of themselves as powerful, so much so that they carelessly taunt those that hold the tools of their destruction- the Hatchetmen (read as Lyran Commonwealth Armed Forces).

So adamant in their insolence, so certain that the consequences would be naught, the purple chickens delighted in their delusion of invincibility. Did these thoroughly despicable souls truly believe that they would continue to escape their fate? Did they believe that the Disciples would not keep their promise?

Recklessly beg for their own demise, they did. So the Hatchetmen did come. Out of the Lyran dropships the Hatchetmen came, with axes swinging. The purple chickens squawked and strutted, but they soon found themselves running around with their heads cut off.

Pleas for mercy could be heard, but none was given…the Hatchetmen kept swinging. Anger and Rage that had built up over the years erupted violently, the Disciples were settling an old score, and keeping their dark promise. The savagery spread from sector to sector, from military target to civilian. Cruelty and Atrocity reigned supreme in the Disciples’ battles. Battalions of beheaded and impaled Mariks beautifully decorated the battlefield. Still living Mariks were strapped to the outside of the Disciples’ mechs so that they could further witness the destruction of their beloved homelands, while they lived out the rest of their lives in horrific agony.

As the Hatchetmen pressed onward, vanquishing any and all resistance, they wondered exactly when would Matrix surface so that they too could be placed on the chopping block. But nary a Matrix unit could be found in the Free Worlds League. Disappointed, the Hatchetmen continued to butcher the other purple chickens.

Before launching a vicious assault on the Starport on PM3 in sector 1, a most unexpected occurrence took place…the defending Mariks started waiving white flags. The surrendering Mariks were bathed in PPC fire. Nothing of them remained. Nothing for the Street Sweepers to take care of this time. The attacks pressed onward toward Atreus. More and more Mariks started surrendering, so more and more Mariks were summarily executed.

To a Disciple, to surrender without a fight is more Craven than fleeing. To a Disciple, those who surrender without a fight deserve nary a drop of respect or honor. Those who surrender without a fight are to be put out of their miserable existence immediately.

The fighting wrapped around the capital of Atreus. The Mariks had only two modes of fighting at this point: hit and run, and hit and surrender. It was a most cowardly, disgusting, and undignified display. Here we were at the very heart of the Free Worlds League, burning, raping, and pillaging everything they knew and loved, but yet they did not have it in them to stand up and fight back. Instead, they were on their knees continually begging for it all to stop...on their knees trembling and crying, surrendering with their all and asking the Conquerors to be merciful. Even with their allies -renegade Capellan forces which had escaped the Lyran occupied Capellan Confederation- they did not have the courage to fight. It was Disgraceful.

As the Marik survivors fall under the yoke of the Iron Fist, what stories of bravery and valor will they have to tell each other? What sense of pride will they cling to so that they can get through the harsh days of occupation that lie ahead? What respect can the wives and children have for their husbands and fathers knowing that they surrendered Atreus, and thus their futures without a fight? Where did all their Courage go? Where did all their Warriors go? Did they ever really have either?

It was known that Marik would break under the Lyran concentrated efforts, but we expected them to at least try to fight to the end. We certainly did not expect them to fall to their knees in capitulation. But so it went. With Atreus in shambles, its people, mechs, and buildings still on fire, the Archon of the Lyran Commonwealth stood malevolently over these men of butter as they signed the Articles of Surrender.

The dark promise the Disciples had made to Captain General Crash himself had now come to pass. Where as the Disciples once celebrated the defense of Atreus, they now celebrated its destruction. A promise made, and a promise kept.

The Fall of Sian  09/16/3027 !BloodyScavenger

The Conqueror takes over the possessions of the conquered, and they are called his."
                                                                       Ka'Shator,  Acolyte of Carnage

For so long the Capellans have had a special place in the hearts of the Disciples.  This place is replete with animosity, contempt, and the intense thirst for the blood of Capellan soldiers and the tears of their wives.  The recent past is filled with our bloody assaults on the Confederation.  The earliest came when we were apart of the Elite Mercenary Alliance (EMA) and were in the employ of  House Marik, and continued off and on through to our time as part of the Mercenary Combine and our employ under the Archon of the Lyran Commonwealth.

In all of those assaults, we were Hell bent on seeing Sian in flames and the Chancellor made into an excellent cadaver.  Each time we struck deep within the soul of the Confederation causing much Death and Destruction, but each time the Capellans persevered and Sian remained out of harm's way.  Many times the Capellans resorted to Craven acts to save themselves, but they persevered none the less.   But with each Conflict, we came closer and closer to Sian.  And after each assault, along with their countless dead, wrecked mechs, and burning wastelands, the Capellans were always left with the haunting feeling that the Disciples of Carnage would be back.and they were right.

Inner-Sphere Conflict once again erupted.  Many felt that the wringing of the necks of the purple chickens would be the order.  But the Archon ordered the attack upon the Capellan Confederation.  So once again, Disciple Mad Khan who had earned the nick name, "The Scourge of Chancellors Quarters",organized the LCAF invasion of Capellan space.

I stoked the Warrior's fire in the chests of the Disciples by shouting, "Once more into the fray of the Blood War, an orgy of Carnage throughout Capellan space climaxing on the capital of Sian with its destruction!"

Swarms of Lyran dropships descended like birds of prey on key planets throughout Capellan space.   Once planet-side, the Disciples of Carnage and the other Lyran Forces unleashed a maelstrom of Hellfire upon the Capellan defenders.  The Capellans scurried at a frenzied pace to get more troops in place to shore up their waning defenses.  The fighting got heavy, but the Lyran Forces would not be denied, regiment after regiment of Capellans were decimated.  Sector after sector fell.  The Capellan military and civilians alike were brutalized by the battle-hardened Lyran Forces.

With each drop of Capellan blood spilled, the Disciples gained momentum and became stronger and more determined.  Steadily moving onward, the Disciples began its assault on the Capellan Starport on PL4, in Sector 1.   It was defended by troops from the Ghost Walkers.  GW gave their all trying to repel our attack, but they met a torturous and bloody end.  Using the blood of the fallen Warriors, the Disciples wrote several degrading and demoralizing words and phrases about the Capellan Confederation on the outer walls of the Starport for all to see.

As was anticipated, the elite Capellan forces, the Knights, were sent to try to regain control of the Starport.   But the Disciples weren't going anywhere.  KnT were the strongest Warriors of the Confederation we faced and they fought tooth and nail for several days to retake the Starport, but they too drowned in the blood dimmed tide of Carnage.   From PL3 to PL5, the Starports rested firmly in the control of the Lyran Commonwealth Armed Forces.  Wave after wave of soldiers from the Confederation had high hopes of retaking these Starports, but their hopes were soon in flames, along with their bodies and their mechs.  The Lyran Forces could not and would not be removed.

The Disciples continued to torture and butcher Capellan soldiers in ritualistic slayings, as is our custom.  Many were left impaled on the twisted and jagged shards of metal that used to be their Mechs.the invasion was going well.  As far as the eye could see, the battlefield was littered with the Capellan's patriot dead, broken mechs, and ghastly gore. The air was filled with the aromatic smell of Death and smoke from burning mechs.  The scene was mesmerizing and the aroma intoxicating.  The Disciples took in long, deep breaths, reveling in every savage moment; we could sense that the fall of Sian was imminent.

We had received word that the Starport on PL2 was in the grip of the Iron Fist of the Commonwealth.  The Confederation was now in deep-serious as now their internal supply had been cut off and the assault of the capital planet of Sian had begun.  We Disciples began our jump to Sian.  For so long we had awaited the day that we would slash and burn our way across the Capellan capital, the day had finally come.  As our dropship descended, we said a Prayer to give us strength and divine malice so that we could destroy everything most dear to the Capellans.

In Sector 3 on Sian, we engaged more Warriors from the Ghost Walkers.  GW was once again courageous and valiant in the face of the ghastly, and grim Disciples, but it was not enough.  They were crushed underfoot as we continued our advance.  We pressed on to Sector 2 of Sian.  It was here we met a group of soldiers we knew only as KR.  We had slaughtered many of them throughout the War, and were very confident that we'd continue to do so. But we found that where the KR did not excel in fighting, they did excel in running.  They ran far and they ran wide.  As we watched them flee, we were reminded of the words that the Acolyte Ankheg would shout at a fleeing enemy, "You can run, but you'll only die tired, Infidel!"

We were determined not to let these Craven soldiers escape their fate.  So we hunted them down and dispatched them in a most grotesque manner.   We disabled their mechs and snatched them out of their *****pits for ritualistic torture and death.   With a blood stained sword of Ankheg, we cut off their hands and feet and watched as they shrieked and writhed in pain.  Then we decapitated them and impaled them upside down on a row of stakes.  We placed their heads atop the stakes.  Their faces that once smiled with the foolish notion that they could escape the hands of Carnage were now pale, and their only expression now was the last one they had, which was one of absolute horror.

As the Lyran Forces approached the Capital Building in Sian's Sector 1, everything in our wake was dead or dying and in flames.  The fighting in Sector 1 was the fiercest.  The Capellans reached deep within themselves for strength and defended their capital with mind, body, and soul.  But it was becoming clear, even to them, that they were fighting a battle they could not win, and one that the Lyrans could not lose.  The final battle took place just mere yards from the Capital Building.  Mad Khan, Firebird, MacCall, and Northwind  were among the Lyrans taking part in the final battle.  Capellans Beck, Cobalt, Deathsgrip, and Venom were among the opposition.  They did not retreat, they stood their ground and fought a great battle to defend Sian.  But failure was not an option for the LCAF. Sian absolutely, and positively had to fall. and so it did.   The Capellan Confederation was drowned in the blood dimmed tide of the Lyran onslaught, then washed ashore broken, breathless and cold.

Operation Green Jacket  04/01/3027 !BloodyScavenger

Swarms of Jumpships entered Capellan space.  On board, filled with the Warrior's fire in their chests, were the war crazed members of the Mercenary Combine.  Once again, the Archon wanted the MC to spill the blood of the Green Jackets.  Capellans have earned the name "Green Jacket" because of the green of their uniforms.  But as has happened many times before, their jackets were about to have shades of crimson blood all over them.

Through diversionary tactics, and misinformation supplied by Lyran agents, the Capellans had no idea the invasion was coming.  All of their Intel reported that the Lyran High Command would be sending the dreaded Mercenary Combine to attack the Draconis Combine.  The fear could be sensed as the green jackets scurried to get their defenses in place as the dropships descended upon the planets of the outer rim of the Confederation.

The battles were quick and brutal, as the Capellan regulars proved little more than target practice for the battle hardened and highly skilled =MC=   Sector after sector fell.  Planet after planet fell to the overpowering force.  In an effort to stem the onslaught, the Capellans moved in their veteran and elite units on subsequent planets.  Col. Venom of Ghost Walkers watched in horror as his veteran squad was decimated. Before ejecting he sent a frantic communication to his superiors "We are in deep serious, we've thrown everything we have at them, they keep coming! We need air support, we need ground support, we need a miracle! My whole squad is being wasted.  I'm punching out!"

Col. Venom managed to escape as attention needed to be placed on the Knights that had dropped on-planet.  KnT being one of the Capellan Confederation's elite units had high hopes of repelling the onslaught.  But their hopes were soon in flames, along with their bodies and their Mechs.  Soon the =MC= had everything across twelve sectors dead or dying and in flames.  It was at this time, the Capellan's last line of defense, the Crescent Hawks, were put into action.

The Crescent Hawks harassed several MC occupied territories, but it only served to slow the invasion.  They could not stop it.  They suffered heavy casualties when they faced the Disciples of Carnage.  The CHs were forced to withdraw and regroup on several occasions.  But it had become clear to the Capellans that not even the CHs would be able to stop the invasion.  The Mercenary Combine continued to move ever closer to the Capellan capital of Sian with several bodies of the CHs adorning their mechs.

In the end, the Mercenary Combine was just one jump away from landing on Sian.  The only thing to stop the impending doom of the green jackets and the death of their Chancellor. TIME.  The time window for the operation closed and the MC was forced to cease its assaults.  Along with the burning wastelands, wreaked mechs and countless dead, the green jackets were also left with the haunting realization that the =MC= would no doubt be back.

Y3025K strikes the Alliance News Center !!!! ??/??/????

Yet another disaster strikes the =MC= News Center.  This time in the form of a computer glitch which sent comstar archives and other data into a void.  Creating some confuse on the matter of the year, rumors circulating that Comstar had actually miscalculated the earth year by 2.  Other rumors suggest that Solaris had been effected by a Space-Time distortion which caused Time to actually suspend for a period of 2 or more years.  Whatever the case, the Mercenary Combine News Center has retrieved the lost files and installed patches to fix the computer glitch.  It's certainly lucky the News Center keeps Mad Scientists on the payroll.

Jihad's Revenge !!!! 10/16/3026

After the devastating losses Davion received in their first Jihad against Steiner, AFFS went out and sought the help of outside Mercenaries to try and level the playing field.  In steps the Kell Hounds, former Mercenaries of Liao.  With this addition to their attack forces, Davion again prepares to invade Steiner.  This would be a good test of LCAF's strength, matching up against 2 skilled units.  It wasn't long after the news became public that Draaguns began boasting that they would take Thakard, and bring Steiner down.  But this would not be the result.

In the end, the DraagQueens and KellMuts did not achieve their goal.  Although the fighting was fierce, Mercenary Combine and LCAF lances held back the AFFS Jihad's best advance into LCAF.

Unholy War !!!! 9/04/3026

The Self proclaimed Minister of Kindness proclaimed Jihad, holy war against House Steiner, =MC= current ally .  What a Big Mistake.   House Steiner strong enough on her own to repel invasions and attacks against the crown, sent =MC= on the offensive. The result, =MC= laying waste to Davion and crushing the Infidel Jihad under our might. Perhaps they would have been better off NOT declaring war on us.  Here's some highlights....

ATTACK ON Guzman Park DAVION Space

  • Rooms 5-4 thru 3-1 Captured by =MC=
  • Mech Gods 18-1 (6-0)
  • SWs MC1 27-2 (9-0)
  • SWs MC4/5 24-4 (8-1)
  • DRs MC3 22-5 (7-0)
  • D.o.C MC2 15-0 (5-0)
  • Totals 106-12 (35-1)

Total Domination - An incredible record of confirmed kills.  Tons of Salvage secured, an excellent night all around.

COMBINE STRIKES !!!! 8/14/3026

In fear that =MC= would remain in the service of HK, representative from House Steiner offered a rewritten contract.  The new contract increased =MC= payment greatly, and promised double credit for capturing key military targets.  With that, =MC= returned to the service of Steiner, and prepared for it's next invasion.

This time, House Marik would be the target.  ST Command seeing the opportunity to strike the neighboring house due to it's weakened condition,  after the loss of several hired mercenary units.  Soon Mercenary Combine would be again boarding jumpships for the long trip towards the Freeworlds League.   Soon enough =MC= was beating on Marik's door, capturing planets one after another.  As expected Marik poised little resistance to the Elite Mercenary Combine Lances, but half-way into our invasion of Marik, Liao Mercenaries from Crescent Hawks, OIs, and Kell's Hounds attempted to cut our supply.  Liao Troops remember well their own failed invasion of Marik due to =MC= lances cutting them off from needed supply planets, now was their time for revenge.  The unstoppable {D.o.C} DoggPack held their ground in MT-4, ready to repel any invaders and hold the supply line open.  But the Dog's of War never saw any Liao Mercenaries. A Lance of Free Pilots Guild refused to give way to anything Liao could muster.  Liao was turned away from Marik Space, and =MC= invasion continued.  Thought the night ended stalled out in Arena 2, =MC= again proved its strength and ability.  =MC= Lances crushed Marik 17 - 4 (57 -16) and captured 11 Rooms.

Blockade ala Draagun. 7/10/3026

In the days after =MC= made it first appearance, Kurita believed it had found what it needed to solve it's problems with the increased pressure Davion forces had been putting on its border.  Quickly contacted for service, =MC= prepared to turn the tides of war in the Draconis March, settling on a price with House Kurita, and moving it's mercenary forces with in striking range of Davion space.

=MC= intended to trap Davion in it's next attempt to invade the Draconis Combine, by counter attacking and cutting Davion's invasion supply routes.  But atlas, this would not be the case.  Security breaches within in our employers house, alerted davion defensive forces, well before Mercenary Combine dropships descended onto their first targets.  Several =MC= dropships failed to reach their destinations, being routed from their drop points by alerted Davion Ground Batteries.  And =MC= units which arrived according to plan, found themselves facing heavily prepared  resistance.  Needless to say, the invasion never got off to a good start.

Combine forces found themselves split and separated by a company of Draaguns which had moved  into deeply trenched positions on Dahar IV, a key world in any Kuritian based offensive into Davion space.  Davion units maintained a strong defense and resisted numerous attempts to remove them from key areas.  Meanwhile House Steiner increased attacks into Draconis Space and  it became apparent that any invasion into Davion would be fruitless.  Mercenary Combine withdrew, leaving only a few units behind to occupy the FedRats.  Returning to Kuritian space, =MC= protected priceless Sake Warehouses, and resisted attempts by enemy forces to steal the prized drink.  After enemy forces withdrew, Kurita entertained combine mercenaries in accord with their contract.

Despite good treatment from the DCMS, Mercenary Combine did not to renew contract with Kurita.

MERCENARY COMBINE!!!! 6/26/3026

Ggedon, Disciples of Carnage, Shadow Warriors, Desert Rats and Mech Gods Unite!

In a move that will certainly shake Solaris to it's foundation, a new Alliance has formed.

Elite Mercenaries Alliance,  First Mercenaries & Mech Gods combined to form the newest alliance to appear on Solaris.  Poised to make their presence felt, Mercenary Combine made it's first appearance in the Solaris Succession War Revival.

Fielding as many lances as certain un-named houses, Mercenary Combine assisted House Steiner in disrupting Liao for the duration of the event.  Stopping Liao's invasion of Marik and holding key supply lines for the Steiner advance into Capellan space, Mercenary Combine showed it's abilities in both combat ability, and complex tactical maneuvering.

Where will the COMBINE strike next? Only time will tell.

*EMA* ARCHIVES (1998-1999)

Steiner Strike or Encore, Encore 4/17/3026

Once again, the Elite Mercs dropped upon unsuspecting House Regular Units and began the usual slaughter. This time *EMA* chose the Lyran CommonWealth as it's Target for Destruction. It did not take long, for the High Command in Steiner to realize that they had the devil knocking at thier door. With most of their main forces engaged in Kuritian Space, the Swieners scrambled to defend their homeland from the ruthless *EMA* invaders. No matter what they threw in front of the advancing *EMA* forces, little could be done to stop the advance towards their final goal, the Lyran Capitol.

In a desprite attempt to save thier precious Capitol, and their reseve warehouses of Lyran Swill, Stiener Command order the destruction of their own ComStar Satellites, in order to break *EMA* communications with Marik Regular Forces who were aiding *EMA* by holding key starports and supply routes. Steiner's gambled paid off, when lack of communications caused a key Starport in the supply line to be left undefended. Quickly Steiner forces moved in and dug themselves deep into defensive bunkers. This maneuver worked, as it starved off supply to the *EMA* forces on the doorstep of the capitol. Despite this, *EMA* still recaptured the starport and continued to move forward in their invasion.

With *EMA* Dropships looming in the dark space above the Lyran Capitol, it was realized that they did not have enough fuel to begin their descent. Another miscommunication saved the Steiner from certain defeat. In the end, *EMA* counted the heads they had collected from the begining of the invasion. 19 battles won in 21 engagements, 61 Lances slaughtered with only 17 drops lost. A near repeat performance of Invasion Liao.

Pleased with their performance, the deadly warriors secured their salvage and decided it was time to return to the Periphery. Another day, another time, the would sack the capitol, but not today.

*EMA* Invades Liao  03/06/3026

Once again the *EMA* shows its brutal ability in the Solaris Succession War.

Just 3 Lances of *EMA* warriors managed to spearhead an invasion of Capellan Space, and capture nearly 3 planets in mere few hours time. In a late move, *EMA* descended on Chancellors Quarters Arena 4, nearly an hour and a half after the beginning of hostilities Saturday Night. By the midnight bell, *EMA* had captured 2 planets. Marik regular forces held the supply line for *EMA* to continue its advance, and by the end of the night *EMA* has captured 11 rooms in all. Defeating Liao Units in 19 out of 21 matches, losing a mere 11 drops in 70 Battles.

Invasion Liao or 59-11 (19-2) 3/6/3026  !BloodyScavenger

Hour by hour and day by day, it drew nearer and nearer. It was fueled by animosity, contempt, and the intense thirst for the blood of Capellan soldiers and the tears of their soon to be widowed wives. This planed offensive was known as the Blood War, an orgy of Carnage that would take place throughout Liao space and climax on the capital planet of Sian with its destruction.

Finally, it was time to unleash this beast of Carnage. The Disciples of Carnage along with their allies, the Armeggedon Covenant invaded Capellan space with fire in their eyes, and a lust for Carnage in their blood. On the fourth planet in the Liao system, Fiorai, they encountered the Liao regiment known as the Saxons. The Saxons were crushed immediately with little effort. As the EMA slashed and burned its way across Fiorai , another group of Saxons was sent to try to stop their advance. The Disciples were rather angered that the Capellans would dare send another group of these girlscout-like warriors to engage them. So this group of Saxons were snatched out of their mechs, beheaded and left to hang upside down on a row of stakes. Then, using the blood of these fallen soldiers, the Disciples wrote several degrading and demoralizing words about the Capellans on the front of their mechs.

A combined Saxon and Red Cobra force was on defense of the starport on Fiorai. A Saxon named Kessu, obviously very distraught since two of his brothers were in the lance that was decapitated and impaled, sent a message on an open channel stating he would avenge their death with every ounce of his being. As it turned out, he was the first to die when the bloody assault on the starport began. After the Disciples took the starport, they scavenged the corporeal remains out of the twisted metal wrecks that used to Capellan mechs. These remains were then used to adorn the entrance and various other outlining perimeters of the starport. Enraged Clown skinned Kessu’s corpse with absolute precision. He then wore the skin and began to mimic and mock Kessu in a rather comical impersonation.

Next, this dark hearted group of mercenaries known as the EMA continued inward to the third planet in the Liao system, Tericata. In every sector, many, many Capellans were brutalized. With each drop of Capellan blood they spilled, the EMA gained momentum and became stronger. The Capellans were helpless as the EMA smashed through regiment after regiment of soldiers and into a heavily populated civilian center. This center was pillaged and plundered. The EMA had their way with several female civilians before they continued on to Tericata’s starport. News of the dark deeds that took place in the civilian areas spread fast. The soldiers at the starport were upset to say the least. But their anger could not stop the extremely violent advance of these demented killers. The Disciples took the starport on the third planet and made a human bonfire out of the still living soldiers. Some of the still-living Capellans were strapped to the legs of the Disciple’s mechs so that they’d have a good view as more of their brethren were decimated.

The Blood War was going extremely well as the EMA marched ever closer to Liao’s capital planet. After leaving Tericata in ruins, the EMA assaulted the second planet in Liao’s system, Sikora. They were just a stone’s throw away from Sian, the capital planet.

Sikora was heavily defended. The Capellan mercenaries the Crescent Hawks and Kell Hounds were dug in- ready and waiting. CH and KH offered the most resistance, but they too drowned in the blood dimmed tide of Carnage. The EMA had control of two key sectors on Sikora and were just waiting for a third sector to be captured so that the assault on the starport could be made. But a previously unknown group of Capellan mercenaries known as the WR proved to be quite good at stalling. They ran far and they ran wide. They ran and they ran and they ran. Then they ran some more. Just when it was thought they were done running, they ran even further. Eventually, these cowards were hunted down and most of them destroyed. But by this time, the timetable was corrupted and there were breaks in the supply line established. So the EMA had no choice but to halt their advance.

Their plans of sacking the capital of Sian was unfulfilled. They were pleased with the death and destruction they had done, and they had several high ranking Capellans to put on display in the horrifying Gallery of Carnage, but the destruction of Sian would have been the climax. The Capellans escaped the full Wrath of Carnage that was intended, but this is in no way the end of the Blood War.

Snakes and Little Green Men   2/7/3026  !BloodyScavenger

In the last succession war, Marik made a tactical error that nearly cost them their capital planet, Atreus.  Luckily they had the EMA under contract, for if it were not for the Disciples of Carnage, Atreus would have surely fallen.  After the incident, the Kurita and Liao made several inflammatory remarks about Marik's armed forces.  These remarks stuck with Marik as they went through their rebuilding stage.  The Snakes of Kurita and the Little Green Men of Liao took every chance they could to rub salt in the wounds of Marik with their propaganda releases.  This only served to fuel the fire of vengeance in the hearts of Marik High Command.  They wanted to bleed the Kuritans and the Capellans.  They knew that there was only one group that could spill the blood of the Snakes and Little Green Men in a most grotesque manner.  The murderously bloody EMA was that group.

In the initial stages of the new conflict, several elements of the EMA disguised themselves as Marik regulars.   This was done to lure the Snakes into their trap.  They knew if the snakes knew who they were, they would avoid them at all costs.  The snake trap was a great success.  Many snakes met a torturous and bloody end.  A ranking officer of the name Yuriko was eviscerated and made to die over several hours.  This was not before he was made to watch as his lancemates  Tahoe, Baron, and M3 Mad were doused with a flammable liquid from the neck up and their heads set on fire.   And that was just the beginning.   Shortly after this beautiful display of Carnage, a group of snakes lead by Tai-sa Master were brutally slaughtered.  The Disciples disabled their mechs and snatched them out of their *****pits.  The arms and legs of Tai-sa Master were severed and used to bludgeon to death two of the Kuritans-- Bulma and Trunks.  The fourth, Cobalt was forced to eat the flesh of his fallen brethren.  After about the sixth or seventh helping, Cobalt went insane.  Screaming at the top of his lungs, "This doesn't count!, This doesn't count!"  It was at this point that !Bloody ScaVenger took a length of intestines from Tai-sa Master's mangled corpse and strangled Cobalt to death.

It was now time for this band of merry killers to travel into Kuritan space to continue the blood-letting.  It was on the third planet in Kurita's Ja-Rane constellation that this band of blood crazed warriors met with the elite Kuritan lance, Legion.  The Kuritans -Frosty, SmittyB, Kahlua, and Seneca tried their very best to stave off the invaders.  But their best was no where good enough to stop these hellish and blood thirsty warriors of the EMA known as the Disciples of Carnage.  The leg of Seneca's Catapult was blasted off and sent through the *****pit of SmittyB's Jenner, smashing him into a deep red goo.   Kahlua's Blackjack was torn limb from limb.  It lay as nothing but a torso while the rest of his lance was decimated.  After Frosty and Senecas mechs were finished off, the Disciples came back to Kahlua's mech.  The angle in which it fell, prevented him from ejecting.  He was then roasted alive by a hurricane of laser fire.   The Disciples had meted out retribution to the Snakes in the name of Marik.

Now it was the Little Green Men of Liao's turn.  They had taunted the Mariks with remarks of how their green flag had almost been placed to fly high over Atreus.  The Disciples traveled deep into Capellan space.  Liao was under attack by the combined forces of Marik, Davion, and Steiner.   The Disciples felt this a most befitting fate for the arrogant Capellans.  The Disciples launched an attack on a primary starport.  It was vital to supply throughout this sector of Liao.  The little green men proved to be nothing but girlscouts compared to the might of the Disciples.  They fell even more easily than the Kuritans did.   After having their mechs disabled, the Capellans Tinman, BlackKnight, Speedy, J-star, and Mont were snatched out of their *****pits for ritualistic torture and death.  A sword that had been stolen from the Chancellor of Liao, BlackWidow, was used on the Capellan soldiers.  It was used to cut off their hands and feet.  After this was done, the Capellans were impaled.  The little green men of Liao died a most agonizing death.  And this, was as it should be.

The *EMA* Defends Marik  01/26/3026

Saturday Night, forces for the *EMA* came out IN FORCE to fight for House Marik in the latest 'Solaris Succession War Simulation'.

4 Lances of the Elite Mercenaries showed great talent and ruthlessness, in both attacking and defending for their house employers. One notable *EMA* Lance lead by Hell Razer Sharpe, held the Marik/Liao Front from Liao Invasion Forces...long after all other Marik Forces had retreated from the front lines. After defeating 7 straight attacks by Liao attackers, these mighty warriors were finally surrounded and ousted from their deep trenched positions.

Sunday Night in the 'last hour' of the Simm. The *EMA* came up big for House Marik. Assaulted on all fronts, Marik had to defend thier Capitol or be defeated. The *EMA* was called to save them, and did so with great zeal.

House Leaders from Steiner, Liao, and Kurita, all came to congratulate the mighty warriors after their successful defense of the Capitol. Many Warriors had gathered in the streets to cheer the warriors when they returned from the battle. Later many of the units who tasted defeat at the hands of the *EMA* vowed revenge, and have been seeking rematch. It was heard that the Steiner Command later cursed the *EMA* stating that "those damn Mercs were the only thing stopping us from marching thru Marik".

Four on a Rock 1/24/3026  !BloodyScavenger

The four Disciples, Stone Dog, Enraged Clown, Mad Khan, and !Bloody ScaVenger were sent to defend the outermost planet in Marik's Sarvon Constellation.  The Disciples were none too happy with this assignment in the beginning; they'd rather have been out invading.  But none the less they followed the orders of Marik's High Command.  They set up their defenses and settled in.   From previous experience, they knew that garrison duty could be long and dull with very little to no action.  Especially on a rock way out in the ass-end of Marik controlled space.  Their boredom was short lived, however.  Steiner Dropships descended on their position.  Out of the drop ships came the mercenary group, the Crescent Hawks.  Among them, were Morgan AKA Ford Prefect, his wife Rhiannon Prefect, D'Rat, who is better known as Mike, and the leader of the Crescent Hawks himself, Sniper.  The fighting was intense.  After battles in light and medium classes, the Disciples found themselves down 2-0.  The Disciples have been in tough situations before, and it is not their custom to panic.  They put their faith in Carnage.  They engaged the CHs in Heavy , Assault, and True Lance combat.  After the smoke cleared, only the Disciples' Mechs remained standing.  The Disciples had come back to claim victory by winning 3 straight battles.  All the CHs were either dead or dying.  !Bloody ScaVenger took the remains of the husband and wife team, Ford and Rhiannon, so that they could be displayed in the gruesome Gallery of Carnage for all eternity.

The Disciples salvaged whatever parts they could from the defeated CH lances.  They just barely managed to get the salvage stowed before they were once again under attack.  This time from the Steiner unit known as the Borg.  The Borg were led by 7 Grey Death.  Under his command were 5 Handle, 26 Relic, and 24 CatWoman.  The Disciples ripped through the Borg with merciless ferocity.  Borg limbs were severed, eye pieces ripped out, heads decapitated.  After one particularly impressive display of force in the light class shown by the Disciples, Enraged Clown was quoted as saying, "In your face Borg!"  In the heavy class battle, the Borg were near victory.  But in a feat of mech piloting brilliancy, Mad Khan was able to take out the two remaining Borg all by his lonesome.  The Borg were decimated 3-2.

By now, the Disciples had grown rather attached to this rock way out in the ass-end of Marik space.  They began to refer to it as The Rock.  And it was clear that this Rock belonged to them.  With the arrival of yet another Steiner assault force-- the Golden Horde, !Bloody ScaVenger was quoted as saying over an open channel, "Welcome to the Rock.  All who have come before you have died.  Lets see what your fates will be"  !Bloody has been known to be a master of psychological warfare.  His words had their intended effect as could be witnessed by the shakiness in the voice of Pacer, leader of the Horde.    The Horde proved to be ineffectual in their assault; they were defeated 3-1.

Pacer, who has never been one to give up easily, sent another Golden Horde assault force.  This one had the likes of Ben, Boom Boom and 8Ball included.   The Disciples were all set to destroy this latest Golden Horde lance when they received an urgent message from the Marik High Command.  The Capital planet was under siege by the combined forces of House Kurita and Liao.   Marik recognized that the Disciples were the only ones that could keep the Capital from falling.  So the Disciples immediately withdrew from the Rock and headed to sector 1 grid 1, the Marik capital.  When they arrived, a lance of HK were making a major advance.    The Disciples expected to be able to defend the planet using only their brethren.  But the Marik commander insisted that his General be able to join the lance.  He spouted something about it being in the contract and Marik had the right to do so.   He wanted this General, known as Bobo, to step in and replace Stone Dog. The Disciples did not take a liking to this at all.  Stone Dog had been wreaking Carnage all night along side the Hell OverLords Mad Khan, Enraged Clown, and !Bloody ScaVenger.   He had been performing with ruthless efficiency all night and had earned the title of MVP.  They did not want leave their brother of Carnage behind for some outsider.  But, reluctantly, the Disciples agreed.

On the light drop,  General Bobo's Dropship failed to descend.  The Disciples found themselves out numbered, 4 to 3.  The Kuritan pilots sent several taunts to the Disciples over open channels.  But the Disciples Faith did not waver.  They did not retreat or attempt to seek cover.  Instead, they charged right at the Kuritans.  The Disciples' aim was flawless, in an instant, they had taken out one of the Kuritans while losing none of their own.  Just as quickly as the first Kuritan died, so did another, then another and another.   The Disciples won the drop even though they were outnumbered. The Kuritans were stunned by the intensity of the Disciples.  They immediately withdrew and sent in their Liao allies, the Kell Hounds, to continue the assault on the Marik Capital.   KH was led by none other than Col. Kell himself. On the Med drop, one of KH's Dropships failed to descend.  The KH were out numbered 4 to 3, much in the same way the Disciples were outnumbered on the Light drop.  But since the KH lacked the raw intensity of the Disciples, they did not claim victory.  The heavy drop was brutal.  Both sides were fighting hard.  Just as !Bloody and Bobo moved in to finish off the Hounds, Cpl. Gorr, whose Catapult was thought to have been double legged suddenly stood up.  Gorr had been playing possum, he had one leg left.  He jump and tried to go for the one shot kill on Bobo's Catapult.  !Bloody was quick to react, and with precision timing, !Bloody shot an AC/2 from his Dragon 1C to shake Gorr's Catapult and make him miss the kill shot on General Bobo.    !Bloody and Bobo then finished off Cpl. Gorr.

The battle was over.  The Kuritan and Liao forces had been repelled off the capital planet in a glorious 3-0 sweep.  The Disciples were Marik's Dark Heroes.  A parade was held in their honor.  They were given fine liquor and had their pick of the best women.  Marik paid them an incredible bonus for all their efforts.  It was an outstanding victory.  And it is safe to say that after saving the Marik capital, the Disciples' prices have just risen astronomically.

GGEDON JOINS THE *EMA*

All Solaris was shocked the other day, when it was announced that the feared unit > had joined the {Disciples of Carnage} in a Alliance. Gathered under the Banner of the *EMA* , Solaris is gripped with fear. Is this the End of an ERA? The Beginning of the Apocalypse? No one can be sure. The only thing that is positive is that Carnage and Armagedon will spread across Solaris.

The once infamous *Elite Mercenary Alliance* has renewed strength in the joining of these two giants. Many remember the days when the Apostles of Carnage, and Guns for Hire spread fear thru out Solaris. Now a new day has dawned, and the *EMA* again can be seen in numbers crushing mechs everywhere.

The *EMA* is in FORCE!!!

Battle Sampler

So many notable battles have occurred during the remodeling of the *EMA* NEWS CENTER., that we have lost count of many infidels that have fallen to the Elite Mercenaries of *EMA*. So this is a quick account of the many battles which have occurred over the past month.

During a combined invasion of Marik, the {D.o.C} felt like aiding the disrupted house. The Carnage which ensued left ELITE , ELH , & HHGD all reeling from the pain of 5-0 sweeps, in which many of their pilots were either killed or seriously injured. The invasion ended in a disappointing loss to Centopath fighting for 4-3. Tho Centopath escaped the wrath of Carnage, later in the month, they were brutally tortured by {D.o.C} Team 2 in the Solaris Lance League suffering a 4-2 defeat. Soon after this battle Centopath quit the SLL, possibly realizing they would have to face the Hell Overlords of {D.o.C} Team 1 later in the season.

In a Solaris Fight Night Event in Steiner Stadium, the Disciples went on a murderous killing spree, defeating numerous lances. To many to name or remember, in the end the Disciples walked away with 22 wins - 2 loses for the entire event. To the dismay of many units, the Disciples will be sure to return to the Fight Night Event to spread Carnage again in the future.

After another Solaris Lance League Win, the Hell Overlord's hunger for battle was unsatisfied. Their opponent that evening Slayers did not challenge them enough to fulfill their lust for carnage. Unleashed upon the unsuspecting of Solaris, the Overlords took to the streets in order to find more battlefields to engage upon. Rabid Clowns, Elite , became more victims of the Skilled Overlords. In a final battle against a , the {D.o.C} ended the night with 18 straight wins...an impressive sweep. It was after this night that negotiations for an Alliance between the {D.o.C} and began. Now all Solaris is in fear of the Renewed Strength of the *EMA*
