The
Acolytes are revered as the Dark Gods of the Disciples of
Carnage. They are the progenitors of the Disciples' society.
They have molded and defined their existence for over five
millennia. The Acolytes are the guiding forces in the
continuance of the Eternal Doctrine of Carnage. They are
the keepers of The
Scrolls and the Three
Books of Carnage. To the truly devoted Disciples, they
grant immortality. Over the ages, the Acolytes have been to
various dimensions and have acquired numerous supernatural
powers. Along with immortality, the Acolytes also bless
the truest Disciples with supernatural powers of their own.
Although all of the Acolytes started out as human, some of
them no longer resemble humans because of supernatural
alterations they have made to themselves. Some information about
the Acolytes is presented below.
Ka'Shator
is the supreme Acolyte. He was born in what was then known
as the Taghaza region of Africa in the year 2286 B.C. He
was the heir of the Warrior King, Ka'Raek. When Ka'Shator
was 25 years of age, his father was slain in battle. Ka'Shator
then became the new Warrior King of the nomadic tribe, the Izkon.
As the Izkon migrated north into Eurasia in pursuit of the
enemy tribe responsible for Ka'Raek's death, they met a tribe
known as the Vorr. The Vorr became well liked by the Izkon.
Ka'Shator and the Vorr chieftain decided to unite the two
tribes. Ka'Shator then renamed the unified tribe the Izkon Vorr.
He then created a ruling council that consisted of
himself, his half brother Gor'Nathal, the cheiftan of the Vorr,
Ankheg and the lower chieftain of the Vorr, Glabrezu.
Shortly after the union of the Izkon and the Vorr,
they found the tribe responsible for Ka'Raek's death. This
tribe, the Luar, was slaughtered by the Izkon Vorr. While
holding the head of the man that had killed his father,
Ka'Shator had a great revelation. He realized that the key
to a better existence is dominance, and that the best way to
gain dominance is through carnage. This was the genesis of
great things to come (See
History). The Izkon Vorr is still in existence today and is
the oldest and most respected sect of the Disciples of Carnage.
Ka'Shator has always been a master of planning,
organization and recognizing abilities in people and then
utilizing them in positions where they could contribute the
most. Ka'Shator is now over five thousand years old, and
he remains the ultimate guiding force in
the continuance of the Eternal Doctrine of Carnage.
He has three wives: Novinia, Althea, and Sidra. But his
mistresses are too numerous to count. Ka'Shator has
hundreds of descendants in multiple dimensions.

In Carnage We Trust
Gor'NaThal
is the half-brother of Ka'Shator. Ka'Raek was their father, but
they had different mothers. Gor'NaThal is only three years
younger than Ka'Shator. At an early age, Gor'NaThal became
interested in weapons. They became his obsession. At the
age of 18, he had already became the chief weapons maker for the
Izkon tribe. When the Izkon merged with the Vorr, he became the
Master Weapons Smith. His many innovations in design and
metallurgy helped lead the Izkon Vorr to many victories. He can
work wonders with just a minimal amount of resources. In
the Toran Incident, it was his photographic memory that allowed
him to retain much of the science behind Toran technology (See
History) for later development. Today weapons are
still his obsession; his love affair with weapons is
indescribable. He still remains the guiding force in the
Disciples weapons innovations and assimilation. Gor'NaThal has
four wives: Tya, Avala, Shiva, and Urcella. Gor'NaThal also has
many descendants, most reside in the Protos
dimension.

Maximum Carnage Means Victory
Ankheg
was born in the Chalok region of southwest Eurasia in the year
2282 B.C. His father, Jagakheg, and mother, Nika, were
poisoned by his uncle, Murkheg. Ankheg, too, had been
poisoned by his uncle. Murkheg gave them all fake snake bites
and told the rest of the tribe a snake must have bitten them all
in their sleep. His deception worked, and he became the
new chieftain of the Vorr tribe. Though buried, Ankheg was not
dead. Days later he regained consciousness and broke free
of his grave. As he walked backed to the village, he was
haunted by visions of his uncle forcing poison into his veins.
All eyes were upon him as he entered the village. He
went to the chieftains quarters and drug his uncle into the
middle of the village, where he proceeded to beat him to death.
After getting vengeance on his uncle, Ankheg became the
chieftain of the Vorr-he was only 16. Being chieftain at
such a young age, Ankheg was weary of those that might seek to
take advantage of his youth and do-away with him to gain control
of the tribe. Though he had gained much respect by
surviving his uncle's poison and killing him, he never stopped
developing his fighting skills. By age 18, he was an
accomplished warrior and tactician and noone in the Vorr dared
oppose him. After two years of being chieftain, Ankheg
realized that it was a big responsibility, and that it would be
better served by at least two persons. It was at this time
he appointed his best friend, Glabrezu, as lower chieftain of
the Vorr. Ankheg was 26 years old when he met Ka'Shator
and the Izkon. The two saw eye to eye on many things, they
recognized that a union of the two tribes would be mutually
beneficial. Ankheg became responsible for teaching his
excellent battle tactics to the entire unified tribe. Ankheg's
tactics have always concentrated on both sophistication and
ruthlessness. Today, he is still the guiding force behind
all the tacticians of the Disciples. Ankheg has never
married, he prefers to be an eternal bachelor. Although he never
married, he has fathered many children.

Glabrezu
and Ankheg grew up as best friends, and remain that way today.
When it came to detecting the approach of enemies,
Glabrezu had a sixth sense. Because of this special
ability, he was made the chief sentinel for the Vorr. He
helped others develop their senses for enemy detection as well.
At age 17, his role in the Vorr was increased as Ankheg
appointed him Lower Chieftain of the entire Vorr tribe.
After the Izkon and the Vorr united, Ka'Shator expanded
Glabrezu's role to include the training of scouts and spies.
Glabrezu came to recognize that information is power. He
created a complex and extensive network of scouts and spies that
kept the Izkon Vorr apprised of the movements of everything
within a 100 mile radius. Ka'Shator would order no invasion
of anyone until a course of action had been reconciled with
information provided by Glabrezu. It was his scouts that
located the tribe, the Luar, that were responsible for killing
Ka'Raek. Over the ages, Glabrezu has developed more and
more sophisticated methods of intelligence gathering. He
remains the guiding force behind the Disciples' intelligence
community. Glabrezu has only two wives: Gina, and Corrine.
Several of Glabrezu's descendants were abducted and killed
by the alien race, the Arilou. Even though they all were
regenerated in the plane of Zhon,
this act by the aliens warranted a Wrath
of Carnage. (See
History)

Carnage is a double-edged sword, with death as one edge, and
information as the other.
Savir
was not considered an Acolyte in the earliest stages. But
he has since reached Acolyte status due to his outstanding work
and devotion to Carnage. Savir was born in the twilight
hours on the coast of the Black Sea. His parents then
threw him into the sea as a sacrifice to the sea gods. But
the tides kept washing him ashore. Each time this
happened, they would throw him back. An elderly man
closeby witnessed this spectacle and decided to act. He
rescued Savir, killed both parents and threw their bodies into
the sea. Their bodies did not wash ashore. This man
was named Dojifir. He gave Savir his name and raised him
as his own son. Dojifir taught Savir many things,
including sorcery. But Dojifir died before completing
Savir's training. Savir traveled far and wide in search of
those that could teach him more sorcery. In the Aquitane
region of Eurasia, he met Nessre. Nessre was a very
skilled sortileger, especially in the dark magic. It was
Nessre who completed Savir's training. Both Nessre and
Savir were indoctrinated by the Acolytes as a part of
Ka'Shator's efforts to explore the possibilities of using black
magic. Savir became the leader of the Circle of Sorcerers after
Nessre was killed in an attack. Ka'Shator pushed Savir's
powers to the limit, as a result, Savir developed skills he
never imagined. Then one night, Ka'Shator and Ankheg came
to him with their most demanding request ever. They wanted
Savir to unlock the secrets of immortality. Savir directed
the efforts of the Circle of Sorcerers in this regard for ten
years. Then finally, Savir opened a portal which he
believed would give the answers for immortality. He and
the other Acolytes entered the portal. Along with many other
revelations, they did unlock the secrets to immortality. (See
History) Through the efforts of Savir, the Acolytes
have become masters of inter-dimensional travel. Savir
remains the guiding force behind the Disciples' Circle of
Sorcerers. He continues to find ways to manipulate things
and events that mortals couldn't possibly comprehend. Of
all the Acolytes, Savir has the most wives: Evetra, Angela,
Norisse, Jasmine, Kishara, and Helena.
